Alto saxophonist Maude Fortier and bassist Juno Hamilton discuss touring across Canada by car as the Maude Fortier Quartet, featuring August McKinney on piano and Julian Ferrer on drums. They departed Montreal in late May, traveling through Toronto, Hamilton, Sudbury, Winnipeg, Regina, Edmonton, Revelstoke, Kaslo, and Victoria. They released their debut album as a group, Echoes of Change, earlier this year.
